Bloodline Ability:

Heat Control

(熱制御 Netsu Seigyo)

Acquisition

Heat Control is a rare Kekkei Genkai that appears in various members of the Senzo Clan Bloodline. It is most powerful when the host is born with the ability but can be obtained through transplanting DNA from a person with the ability. This will grant the new host control of the ability. but it will be lesser in some form.

Main Abilities

Heat Control (熱制御 Netsu Seigyo) allows the ninja to use their chakra to siphon and store heat from their surrounding environment and discharge it at will. This is achieved by absorbing heat through the palms and 'storing it' within the user's own chakra. More advanced users can learn to siphon heat through other parts of the body, such as eyes or feet, to increase the rate of absorption.

This capability makes them more resistant to being hurt by Fire and Ice Releases and allows them to weaken jutsu from natures that require either heat or cold, such as Radiation and Magma Releases. This can enable them to stay warm in frigid cold areas for as long as they have absorbed enough heat or cool down otherwise unbearably hot areas. They can use the heat they absorb in their jutsu as well as superheat their weapons that are imbued with their chakra.

Conversely, siphoning heat from the environment reduces the kinetic energy atoms comprising the immediate surroundings of the user. This causes a steady drop in the temperatures farther away with the steepest drops happening closer to the user's immediate position

Sub-Abilities

Skilled users of Heat Control can siphon heat from at greater speed through different parts of the body simultaneously, allowing them to build up a great deal of heat within a short time frame and affect a larger-sized area. The primary method of heat absorption for beginners is through the palms of the hands.

While more resistant to colder and hotter temperatures than normal, the ninja is not completely immune to these effects. They cannot handle freezing cold temperatures if they do not have enough heat to regulate their body temperature, so they must be careful how much heat they take in as the colder it is the more heat they must expend to keep their body warm. Vice-versa, the user also must be careful they do not go over their 'heat threshold' and absorb too much. This can cause them to suffer from dehydration, indicated by fever.

More skilled users also have a higher 'heat threshold' and are able to siphon more heat. Additionally, the user gains little heat from Fire that is produced through jutsu techniques. Conventional heat sources work better than those created through chakra.

Finally, those with Heat Control are limited to one Elemental Transformation.

Kageyasu, Makoto, and Nakamura.

These are the surnames of the 3 founders of the Senzo clan. Hailing from 3 entirely different villages, it at first seemed unlikely that they would eventually become the iconic figures they did. Makoto was surly and intimidating, Kageyasu was orderly and well-mannered, while Nakamura was unpredictable and fast-paced.

They came from different backgrounds, which meant the clan had its start outside the walls of a ninja village, in the darkness of the wilds. The three of them were traitors and warmongers, plotting a coup d'etat on their native villages. They were cast out and fled the lands of shinobi, traveling over a vast distance, until they reached the lands between.

They settled a small existence in a crevice etched in the nearby mountains that surrounded the hill in the fringes where many scarcely traveled. The clan made a living as a small tribe, surviving on the meager amount of resources they could work out.

Decades passed and the clan remained outcasts and small in number, the deeds of their founders long forgotten and lost in time, save to the elder of the Senzo.

A Time of Peace

One day, the clan was approached by an envoy of Aranogakure no Sato. The envoy, after seeing the small clan, made an offer to allow them to become an official clan of Arano. A few Senzo had talent as ninja, possessing the rare birth defect that had allowed them to absorb heat that had proved instrumental in allowing the clan to stay warm in the years when it snowed.

Needless to say, the Senzo clan's elder accepted and finally moved into a home they could call their own in Aranogakure no Sato.

Years passed and the Senzo fully integrated with the society of Aranogakure, becoming an official shinobi clan. They gained prestige as one of the more powerful clans of the village. Besides shinobi, they were also merchants and produced many high-quality goods. It was truly a time of peace.

Amenaza

It happened one winter night. The disease, a powerful infection that never seemed to surface before, swept the village and brought the clan to its knees. They were slaughtered viciously with only a few managing to escape.

Were it not for a single person, they would all have been killed, a man by the name of Aimon.

Aimon, somehow not fully affected by the disease, raced to get as many people out as he could. A small amount of Senzo managed to make it out with their sanity, but the majority had no chance and fell pray to the affliction later on.

By the time it was all over, Less than 1/3 of the clan remained standing. They were scattered to the winds, some settling in the lands between while some fled back to the land of shinobi and to the villages.

Physical Traits

Even without the Kekkei Genkai, all Senzo clan members are known for their high bodily resilience, stamina and resistance to cold and hot temperatures, boosting their base endurance by 10% and taking 20% less damage against hot and cold-based ninjutsu. They have 15% more stamina than normal shinobi, allowing them to fight in longer battles.

Chakra Traits

Senzo Members tend to have an affinity for one of the three elements of the clan's founders: Water, Earth, or Fire.

It also isn't uncommon for them to have very large Chakra levels because of their physical stamina and their adaptation to the environment, but this varies from person to person.

Sealing Jutsu

Even Senzo Clan prodigies are baffled by the complex formulas in Sealing Jutsu, resulting in them having almost no aptitude for it, meaning they are limited to Sealing Jutsu at D-Rank.

Poison

Senzo clan members have a genetic affliction that makes them more susceptible to poison, allowing it to kill them easier.

Description: This is the basic technique of the clan. The user siphons heat from their surroundings, expending chakra to draw in heat through a part of their body. This has the effect of changing the temperature conditions of the immediate area, causing warm and pleasant areas to become frigid and cold for the time being and replenishing the user's stores of heat. If another heat source exists outside of the user's domain (ex. Sun) then it will take a bit of time for it to replenish the heat absorbed. This can also be used to weaken jutsu that are fire-based by a certain amount, depending on the skill of the user.

Still a WIP. I'm experimenting and trying to come up with good ideas for this, but I do appreciate that.

Will remove that pronto and add the percentage, but this still has a ways to go before I say ready.

- Yeah, I probably shouldn't have called it that since it isn't much like an armor. It warms an area around the user that isn't limited to personal space. I have changed the description to match this. If you need me to change it entirely, I will do so.
