It had been nearly a couple of months to Kuroi as he finally appeared back to the starting point of Umigakure no Sato, his height now 5'7 and his body more toned than it was when he had first left. Looking at the opening he would remember when he first left here to go and train with his summons to finally complete his training. Looking to the side of him was Tomoyo, his younger wolf summon who had accompanied him home," So how does it feel to finally be back home Kuroi, you have learned so much over these couple of months and now you are ready to show your skills," although she was looking up at him, she was speaking through his mind. Nodding he would rub her head gently and speak aloud," It is good to finally be back home, i missed my small family and even now i cannot wait to see them. Although i am wondering why Akira did not accompany us," although that wolf was stubborn he had to deal with some other things. Carrying a bag over his shoulder, Kuroi and Tomoyo would walk down the path and head to the Tunnel where he would hope to see his family waiting for him.

Shiro sighed patrolled Umi, she wasn't fond of be on the "on' shift of ANBU. She rather liked adding to her legend hunting rather than waiting for missions and paroling, but such was the job she had. The white haired women sighed under her mask as she sat in the shadow watching the market place. She glanced up at the dome that protected her home the village, letting her chakra flow to her tattoo feeling the barer that around the village for anything.

"Rabbit there something by the entrance tunnel. I'm going to have a look."

"Want us to some with captain>?"

"No, stay put I'll be back in a bit." Jill body flickered over. Chunin checked people in, but Shiro sometime had a feeling about things, and this signature was familiar. A few moments later, the figure emerged. It was taller boy and large dog, no wolf, and the boy's face echoed in her mind, it was the chill she felt from his chakra that made her smile as she realized that her little cousin was home.

"Rabbit I have something I need to handle here can you cover for me?"

"Do you need any help captain?"

"Negative, just need to escort someone important to see Suikage-sama."

"Very well captain, radio if you need any help." Jill smiled gave an affirmative that she would before jumping down to greet her cousin.

"Welcome back Shimada-san. If you will come with me I will escort you to the Suikage."

Kuroi seemingly stopped for a moment having remembering the training he had here with his cousin, whom of which he has not seen in forever. He wondered if she was still uptight and hard working, but then again she had to manage the clan while he was away. Feeling glad to be home he felt a familiar presence come into the vicinity and he smiled as he looked down to Tomoyo," It seems like someone is coming to meet us...i know this feeling anywhere," smiling as soon as Jill spawned in front of him. As she spoke to him he would shake his head and hug her," Why do you have to be so formal with me Jill...we are family and the last thing want to hear is you calling me by my last name," he would step back for a moment as he observed her for a moment, his thoughts wandering to when she used to train him. Now that the family reunion was over he looked at her with his Ice Blue eyes, not much had changed about her except of course her humor. His black hair that originally sat on his neck was now below his neck as he walked beside her and waited for her to speak to him.

"I know my silly little cousin," She reached up and ruffled it hair smiling, "but some of us still have jobs we have do. So aside from getting so tall what have you been up to?" The ANBU apprised him with a keen eye taking in all his growth, he looked so much older than she knew him to be, and he a new air around him he seemed different than when he left.

The crowed steered clear of white captain and her charge as the passed though the marketplace, interesting things had happened while he was away, the ANBU captain had unwittingly acquired a new nickname and respect, fear, from the civilians.

"Stay away from her,"

"Its her, the Ice Witch," She sighed ignoring one mother who pulled her child back. It was fine to kill and protect the village till it had to be in full view of the villagers. Most just looked at her in awe now when they realized she wouldn't kill them, but there were still a several that clung to their fear. Shiro now had a very good understand and sympathy for the village's Jinchuuriki. Morons.

Shiro smiled seeing a few of the children come up and stare at her in awe. She turned when one girl tugged at her cloak and handed her a flower. She glanced over at her tall cousin before ruffling the girls hand and moving on. Out of ear shot she spoke again, "I remember when you were that small. How long has it been since you used to take naps in my lap?"

Kuroi had smiled as Jill ruffled his hair, looking at her for a moment. He chuckled for a moment before answering her question," After my training i went around for a little traveling, looking for different things with tomoyo here. i finally decided to come home to see how my favorite cousin was and to also focus more on our clan and my ninja career," he chuckled as he walked into the village.

He wanted to say something about how the villagers were treating Jill, almost to the point where he was going to lash out at the women who dared to disrespect his family. Calming himself he would look at the little girl who had came up to Jill and could not help but smile as he walked over and made a frozen rose for the little one," Become strong and one day you can be like her okay," he smiled sincerely as he began to walk off with Jill.

When she asked the asked that question he chuckled and hugged her tightly," it has been awhile since i have enjoyed a nap in your comfortable lap, but maybe someday i can another one in your lap sometime," he looked up at her and smiled.

Shiro chuckled lightly under her mask, "I think you may have gotten too big for that Kuroi-chan. Besides you're not going to get the chance to any time soon. Its time for you to get back to genin work like all your other classmates, no more lazying around. You don't want to be kept from the Chunin exams do you?"

The while cloaked ANBU captain poked him in the arm her smile fading as she remembered something important, "So have you figured out your specialty yet and what you plan weapon you plan to make?" The they had moved out the civilian district and were in the shinobi area, so the pain were no long really a sight to see. A few ninja saluted the masked women as they passed.

Kuroi frowned for a moment before chuckling," That is a bit disappointing that i won't be able to take my naps anymore, but i will get my nap sooner or later. Wait...the chunin exams are coming soon, Tomoyo i thought we were going to get here sooner than the exams," he looked down at the female wolf with a somewhat confused look. The wolf would look up at him and shrug for a moment before prancing to his left side.

After being asked what he was going to specialize in, he thought about it for a moment. He had been training in the Sage art so he was definitely using that in his arsenal. He however loved his ninjutsu and wanted to master that before anything else. Nodding he would look up to Jill," i chose between Ninjutsu and continuing my sage training. However for my clan weapon, i have decided to choose the tanto as my weapon. Due to its size and shape it would be quick and efficient when i fight alongside my comrads," satisfied with his answer he would continue to walk with Shiro, noticing the respect she was getting.

Shiro smiled and shook her head when he wanted to keep with ninjutsu, "No, silly goose, what job do you want to take on and what area? You will need to serve till your 21 then you have to prove yourself before you can take on status as clan head and are taken off of active duty."

Their time was growing short as they neared the building. Shiro smiled at him under her mask again. "I'm glad to have you back, little brother. Perhaps we can meet up later and I can test how sharp your skills are." She patted him on the shoulder before disappearing back to her station for patrol.
