LOOKS DESCRIPTION:A rather unkempt young woman, a bit tall for a girl her age. An athletic build, but within the usual shinobi standards. Has rather messy, unevenly cut reddish-brown hair, shoulder length at its longest points. She rarely makes any attempt to wrangle it, letting it hang where it will. Generally dresses lightly, in plain, old, and sometimes worn-out clothes. The only article of clothing kept in good condition is the bracer she wears on her right arm. As a piece of armor, it's to be kept in tip-top shape. The rest is just cosmetic and shouldn't be fussed over under her clan's rules. She currently has a second pair of arms growing from her sides, halfway between her shoulders and her waist. Personality Information PERSONALITY INFORMATION: Arumi is tough thuggish and she doesn't care who knows it. Well, that's not quite true. She wants everyone to know it. She was raised to value strength above all else, and she's taken it to heart. Appearance, education, and politics are all things wusses worry about. Arumi's a warrior gal from a warrior clan in a warrior society, she has no time for such trivialities. Just point her at a fight, she'll take it from there. Combined with the standard Hirano bravado about their powers and combat abilities, this can lead her to take some very stupid risks. Even if she encounters something too big for her massive self-confidence, she still feels the need to show off and is likely to charge in anyway. What she's less open about is her devout side. The Hirano are raised to pretend they're dumb brutes, to discourage people from going after the arcane secrets that are common knowledge in their clan. Arumi knows quite a few things about the more twisted and obscure regions of the spirit realm, although she would never dare mention them to an outsider. Those secrets are sacred, and should not be shared with nonbelievers. As much as she pretends not to think, she's still very devoted and is even eager to get her first lifetime mutation. She thinks it's a blessing, and frankly pretty damn cool. All that stuff about it making you crazy is just outsider propaganda. In fact, her devotion to the clan can border on insanity. The Hirano elders can do no wrong in her eyes. No matter what they do, there will always be a justification. Suggesting otherwise can be cause for a fight. Not that she needs much provocation, but those who insult the sacred order are in for a special ass-beating. That's when her more sadistic side comes out, aiming to punish the heretic with as much pain as possible. She's persistent, too. She might need to be pulled off the blasphemer. LIKES:

Name: Kai - Release Rank: D+ Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Name: Futon: Kazeken [Wind Blade] Type: Ninjutsu Sub Type: Futon Rank: D Orientation: Supplementary Effects: A basic wind technique that it utilized with a weapon, typically a blade. The user will apply their chakra to weapon, surrounding with a layer of their chakra. They will then begin to "Sharpen" the chakra, utilizing their wind affinity to create a tearing effect with whatever contacts the chakra. This will improve the cutting ability of the weapon, making attacks more deadly.
Name: Futon: Buki Tsubasa [Weapon Wings] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Futon Rank: D Orientation: Supplementary, Offensive Effects: This technique is similar to Kazeken in the manner it used, the Shinobi transferring their chakra into a weapon. In this case the user will, rather then improving power, will increase the speed of thrown projectiles. When thrown, the transferred chakra will release it itself from the end of the weapon in the form of a gale, boosting the speed of the weapon's flight. This makes it harder for enemies to react to the weapon, and is useful for hitting quick targets. This boosts the speed of the weapon by one rank to a maximum of S, adding another ten feet to its range.
Name:Futon: Ea-hazumi Air Bound Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Futon Rank: D Orientation: Supplementary Effects: A jutsu that is similar to the manner shinobi walk on water and trees, but far more dramatic in the manner it functions. The user will gather a large quantity of chakra beneath their foot as they raise it. Upon gathering sufficient energy, the user will stomp downward, compressing the air that they've gather until, like a spring, it explodes, flinging the ninja forward. This is useful for charging the enemy, quickly crossing the battlefield, and dodging attacks. In order to dodge a B-rank attack, she must already be at a sprint when she uses this jutsu.
Name:Futon: Daitoppa [Great Breakthrough] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Futon Rank: C Orientation: Offensive, Supplementary Effects: A jutsu that, similarly to Katon, utilizes breathing to function. The user will gather air into their mouth, imbuing it with their chakra before blowing it forward. This will cause a fierce and powerful blast of air to shoot forward, easily lifting an enemy off their feet. This technique is also utilized to boost the potency of fire attacks, speeding it forward and feeding the flames.
Name: Futon: Mugen Sajin Daitoppa [[b/]Infinite Dust Great Breakthrough] Type: Ninjutsu Sub-type: Futon Rank: B Orientation: Offensive Effects: A superior form of Daitoppa, this technique greatly increases the amount of force provided by the blast. This technique uses a greater amount of wind, the user drawing a large quanity of air into their lugs before releasing it in a great air blast, a deadly missile of air pressure. The force is such that it can even blast with stone and keep on going.

Name: Listener Rank: D Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Improves the user's hearing, with the ears either stretching to long points or becoming large and floppy. If the transformation becomes permanent, the user will start to suffer from auditory hallucinations that become steadily worse. Eventually, they'll need to shout to hear themselves over the voices.
Name: Bloodhound Rank: D Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Improves the sense of smell, allowing the user to track targets by scent. It can come in two varieties. One is the nose, which flattens into just a pair of nostrils on the surface of their face. The other is a long, snakelike tongue that lets them taste the air, and gives their voice a hissing quality. The tongue is long enough to reach their own forehead. If this becomes permanent, it can lead to some erratic and feral behavior down the line as they rely more and more on their sense of smell.
Name: Lesser Talons Rank: D Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Grows a set of curved claws in place of fingernails and toenails. The claws are usually 1-2 inches long, and can be used for climbing or combat. They are very sharp, capable of easily tearing through flesh or wood, and even able to dig into brick or soft stone. If one is broken or damaged, it will be restored the next time this transformation is used. If it becomes permanent, the user will steadily become more hostile and violent.
Name: Lesser Horns Rank: C Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: The user grows rows of short, sharp horns on their forehead, all the better to headbutt you with. They can both inflict damage and absorb some impacts, providing additional head protection. If they become permanent, the user may become more aggressive, and more prone to using these new toys to vent their frustration.
Name: Lesser Maw Rank: C Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Gains razor-sharp teeth, usually similar to a shark or an alligator. Their mouth widens, opening across the entire jawline. This makes the speech somewhat slurred, but gives a powerful close-ranged bite attack. Of course it needs very close contact to pull off, but it can easily tear through flesh. If it becomes permanent, the user will steadily become more hostile and violent.
Name: Extra Limb Rank: C Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Can grow an extra arm or leg. Arms will automatically have a random mutation out of all the ones available to the user. If severed or otherwise incapacitated, another limb can never be grown in the same spot. Each extra limb will act slightly differently from its owner. If this mutation becomes permanent, these will slowly develop into full-fledged personalities, and may start conversing or even arguing with each other.
Name: Frogtongue Rank: C Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Grows a long tongue, capable of extending up to 3 meters. The tongue is prehensile, able to wrap around objects and pull them in. The tongue can also stick to objects for easier grabbing. Unlike most mutations, tongue mutations can combine without overwriting each other. If it becomes permanent, the user will develop a taste for small animals, swallowed whole.
Name: Beholder Rank: C Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: Can grow extra eyes anywhere on their body. These give the user a greater field of vision, but also open up new soft spots and vulnerable points. The eyes will always be slightly raised, so as not to interfere with other parts of the body. Unless intentionally closed at once, the eyes naturally settle into a patter where they cover for each other's blind spots and blink in sequence, always leaving at least one open. The eyes will automatically have an inhuman look, usually similar to a squid's eye, and the user's original eyes will change to match. If permanent, they can cause visual hallucinations.
Name: Greater Talon Rank: C Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: The mutated hand or foot grows and stretches into a large, bird-like claw. The skin becomes leathery and long hooked talons grow from each fingertip. With this ability hand signs become awkward and difficult, but are still possible. Any jutsu requiring hand signs will take twice as long to activate. The size of the hand also makes it it impossible to use small weapons, such as kunai or shuriken. If the feet are mutated, they can act as a second pair of hands. If it becomes permanent, the user will steadily become more hostile and violent.
Name: Brute Rank: B Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: he user grows to 150% their normal size, becoming 3-4 times heavier. This larger form is significantly stronger and more muscular than their normal self, and speaks with a much deeper voice. Those who get this mutation permanently will start to see "little folks" as inferior, and may become callous and distant to them.
Name: Greater Horns Rank: B Range: Self Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Handsigns: N/A Description: The user grows a pair of large, sharp horns from their temples, usually in a bull-like shape. These protrusions are strong enough to block some weapons, and more than capable of goring someone. They can even pierce some kinds of armor. They have similar issues to the Lesser Horns if they become permanent.
History Information HISTORYA child of the Hirano clan, daughter of a Hirano father and a convert mother, and raised in their ways from birth. In their compound she was taught to fight hard, resist pain, and meditate on the ways of the Three-Headed Father. Her meditations in the secret temple deep under the clan compound left her changed, allowing her to call upon their unnatural chakra. She was a good follower, not using her gifts until she had graduated from the Academy. Upon her graduation, Arumi finally became a full-fledged member of the clan. She was marked with the Sigil Obscura on her back, and permitted to use the clan's signature jutsus. She's somewhat neglected the more standard techniques since then, letting her Wind Release abilities fall by the wayside. Instead she throws herself into the thick of things, reveling in her physical powers. It's earned her a few scars, but she doesn't mind. Arumi's been relatively lucky. So far, she's managed to avoid any permanent mutations, and get through it all with her mind pretty much intact. She's been bugging her superiors to give her more interesting missions, eager for danger and adventure. She hasn't yet had the chance to explore beyond Donzokogakure territory, and is chomping at the bit to try. Until that day comes, she's just going to keep annoying her commanders about it. Max increase by one rank. And maybe a ten ft increase in the distance of thrown weapons.

This won't scale to the right proportions. So if you're fighting a speed demon, this won't be fast enough even with an S rank weapon. Just saying. lol SS rank speed is faster then S. And S is as high as weapons go. Other then that..... | |
