Agito followed Vox out to the training grounds and he looked around, the breeze now blowing, it pushes his hair back a bit and his open flak is blown a bit with the breeze, he sighs softly remembering his days as a member of a cell and coming here to train together, he shakes his head after so much and he turned his back to the wind as he waits for the kage....as always

Jutsu to be trained:

Vox only took a moment to get ready when he arrived at the training ground. He folded his old coat and set it aside, a safe distance from where the action would be. Next were his swords and knives, stacked atop the coat. He was testing Agito's abilities, not trying to kill him. Besides, the man was a taijutsu expert. It would be best to see what he was capable of, instead of forcing him to run from Romulus and Remus. Thoroughly disarmed, the Keukage strolled onto the training field. He stretched a bit as he walked, joints popping as he limbered up for the fight.

He stood opposite Agito, a few paces away, and took his stance. It was still unusual, he hadn't taught his style to anyone else in all his years in Kemurigakure. His stance was low and wide, with his elbows slightly out to the sides and his hands open. A classic grappler's stance, something that was rare in shinobi society. Most ninja preferred to attack mostly with the legs, keeping the hands free for weapons or hand signs. Vox's heavy focus on hand attacks and grappling put most of them off their guard. He beckoned to his new head jounin. “Well, we might as well get this started. Come at me.” This was going to be interesting.

Agito sighed softly and he removed his flak jacket, then his tool pouches and tossed them to the side, he then would crack his neck with his eyes closed and as his head returned to the postion of looking forward. He saw the Keukage standing before him and he hears the taunt, so Agito would then roll his shoulders and as he did a cloak of lightning chakra surrounded him as he activated his Lightning Release Armor, then he spoke out to the Keukage "Prepare yourself" and then with a foot step forward Agito seemed to disappear, moving faster then even the Eternal Mangekyo Sharigan could see once he was visable again it was his arm out stretched and Agito shouted "Lariat" aiming for his Kage's chest. If it landed it could do serious damage, but he knew to impress the kage he couldn't hold back even in training, plus there had to be a reason why he is the kage, Agito decided to test this theory he had.

Vox gave a nod of approval as Agito was shrouded in electricity. This was the infamous Lightning Release Armor he had heard so much about. It was very impressive in person, he could see how dangerous it would be. He'd have to be careful, it was clear Agito wasn't holding back. Vox felt glad he'd left his coat behind, it didn't need any more scorch marks to fix. This was going to be one hell of a fight.

When Agito started moving, he was much faster than Vox expected. Even to his trained eyes, the man was a blur. The Keukage hadn't seen this sort of speed from anyone other than a gen-aug. He prepared himself to roll with the hit, but Agito seemed to have other plans. Vox smiled as the younger man shouted out “Lariat!” He'd never understood the idea of calling out attacks unless it was a part of the attack itself. His opponent had just told him where the attack was coming, and had said it in a way that allowed time for a response. Vox ducked under the hit, bringing his knee up to strike at Agito's gut. The lightning chakra was painful, but his augmented body protected his nerves, keeping him from seizing up at the shock. One hand went for Agito's leg while the other went towards his shoulder. He aimed to flip the other man, putting enough force to throw him all the way onto his back instead of slamming him down head first. He didn't want to break any necks today.

Jutsu used:

Agito watched as Vox ducked under and brought up his knee, the close range he couldn't dodge, but Agito wouldn't feel the hit as the armor protected him, and as the kage was now behind him Agito jumped up with a high spinning back kick, if not stopped when Agito would land he would then duck low to the ground and do a low sweep and if it connected it would trip the kage hopefully, and in the event that happened Agito would then use his speed to suddenly appear above the fallen Vox and aim to bring a fist down into Vox's chest.

Jutsu Used:

Vox knew that Agito was good, but he was surprised at how good he was. The man had either seen or felt the grab coming, he wasn't sure which. Either way, he'd managed to jump above the attack. Maybe the Lightning Armor also gave him some sort of enhanced awareness, allowing him to tell when someone was getting into his personal space. Vox reminded himself to ask about that later.

He didn't have much time to react against the next attack. Agito was still incredibly fast, and he wasn't calling his attacks now. Vox had to keep a close eye on him to follow his movements. He barely managed to duck the high kick. This was difficult for him to follow without using Dilated Perception, but he was holding that back in case he really needed it. The Keukage was designed and trained for sustained fights. He didn't know how well Agito could handle a battle of attrition, but something like the Lightning Release Armor had to take a lot of chakra. He couldn't keep it up forever.

The second attack, Vox didn't dodge. Agito dropped fast, sweeping his legs out from under him. The kage landed on his back, bracing his fall with hands. Agito was already above him, going for a drop attack. Vox grinned. His hands shot out, grabbing onto the attacking arm and twisting. He rolled his body out of the way, trying to use his momentum to slam Agito into the ground. He wasn't as gentle this time, he'd seen how much abuse this armor could take.

Jutsu Used:

Agito was caught off guard with the grab so he would look directly into Vox's eyes, with the connection of the hands and the eye contact Agito would attempt to put the Kage in a Genjutsu, if the kage was put into it, White feathers would begin to fall and the kage would be put to sleep, allowing for Agito to break away from the kage and he would power down the Lightning armor release for a bit as he watched to see the kage's next move, if it failed, then obviously Agito would be slammed into the ground, this was kind of a last ditch effort for Agito, but he needed to see if the kage had a weakness that needed to be covered, and what better way then a good old fashion spar between the two.If the Genjutsu failed then Agito would be at the kage's mercy...for the moment.

“Well fuck.” Vox knew he was screwed when he saw the feathers falling before his eyes. He was under a genjutsu, and without his knives he didn't have anything that could cause him any pain to break it. He recognized this jutsu, the Temple of Nirvana. He tried a few stimulants to force himself awake, but the genjutsu overpowered him. The Keukage's eyes shut, and he drifted off to sleep. Of course, Agito was still falling towards the ground next to him with all of their combined force. How he landed intact was up to him.

A few minutes later, the Keukage woke up. He opened his eyes just a crack, surveying his surroundings before revealing he was awake. Agito was standing nearby, with his Lightning Release Armor inactive. Vox stood up, stretching out. “Maybe I should thank you. I needed a bit of a rest.” He stretched out again. In the few minutes he had been on the ground, he had completely recovered from the damage and strain of the fight. “Genjutsu isn't really my strong suit. You've read the briefings, no chakra. Need my knives to get out of it. But that was restful, I'm feeling a lot better now. You ready for round two?” The Keukage took a different stance this time. Fingers together, palms out. Still low and broad, but more firmly rooted. If Agito was up for it, he was going to see how the kid could handle the Arhat Fist. It was more direct than what he'd been doing before, it might give Agito a chance to get some solid hits in. He wanted to see how hard his new head jounin could hit.

Agito smiled to see a different stance, though now he knew his kage's weakness, without the knives he is vunerable to genjutsu's so with that knowledge he had another thing he wanted to test, he activated his Lightning Armor release again but then he did a couple of hand signs and then he would swing his arm like he was throwing something then out of the lightning chakra senbon form and are flying at high speeds at the kage, he wanted to see how the kage would handle this Ninjutsu, Agito let out enough chakra to send out five senbon, he was conserving for the Lightning armor upkeep

jutsu used:

Vox held his ground, waiting for Agito to reactivate his armor. He was only human, after all. He hadn't recovered as well as the Keukage had. Electricity crackled across Agito's skin, his hair stood on end, and Vox knew he was ready. The Kage charged him, going on the offensive this time. He'd let Agito take the lead before, it was his turn to put the pressure on. The Arhat Fist was well suited for a head-on assault, it was time to give the jounin a taste of his own medicine.

It seemed like Agito wasn't ready to go on the defensive just yet. Five lightning senbon shot out, spreading as they flew. With the way they were spaced out, sidestepping wasn't the best option. Besides, he had a plan in mind. This Lightning Release Armor was great for training, he could cut loose more than he usually did. Vox kicked off the ground, jumping over the senbon. He let out a guttural battle-cry as he fell back towards Agito. The Keukage drew a palm back, slamming it downward as he landed. If this hit, it would drive Agito into the ground. If not, it would still make a pretty nasty crater.

Jutsu Used:

Agito watched the Kage jump up and when the watched the open hand of the kage, he decided to wait till the kage was in postion, being in air it was difficult to dodge so Agito would wait and then aimed his hand up, aiming at the kage's chest, next to his heart, so not to kill the kage, he then put lightning chakra into his hand and it shot out like a spear at the kage, if it hit the kage, Agito would then bring his arm down and drag the kage down into the ground, then cutting off the supply of Chakra, if somehow he missed he would immiditaly cut off chkra supply and would run backwords, though it would almost seem he was teleporting

jutsu used:

Once again, Vox was reminded of why he hated aerial attacks. He had no real way to dodge something like this in the air. He let out a gurgling sound as the jutsu struck him between his hearts. He could feel the electricity scorching the wound, this would be a bitch to heal. The kage slammed into the ground, and he felt the jutsu end. His blood started to reroute through alternate vessels, making up for the ones that had been damaged.

"Okay, I set myself up for that one." he said, getting to his feet. He took a goken stance, weighing his options. Agito had been pelting him with one jutsu after another, he didn't know how much longer the armor would hold up. The low number of senbon had indicated that he was running low, but that might have been a feint to set him up for an attack like this one. Either way, he still hadn't put Agito's speed to the test. The lightning armor made him fast, but he hadn't seen how it stacked up against Vox's full speed. His pupils dilated, and time seemed to slow down as his body was pumped full of stimulants. He charged at the jounin, and got an idea as he did. The Keukage extended his arm, aiming to Lariat his opponent.

Jutsu used:

Agito would see the Kage get up from the spear attack, then when the kage charged at full speed, Agito himself would put the last of his chakra into an all out attack, charging at his fastest speed, with his Lightning armor plus his natural speed enhancement, he would move faster then what any human could see normally, but with the kage cutting time down by one fifth, the kage could see Agito running, preparing his arm straight out, his speed would seem like that of someone moving normally to the kage's eyes, Agito was hopping that he could end this in at least a draw with this final move

jutsu used:

Vox grinned. This might be the last chance for him to get hit with the LRA during this spar. He charged head-on, letting the lariat hit him. It was a harder impact than expected. The speed and resilience the armor gave Agito turned the lariat into one hell of a hit. The two slammed into each other, sending them both flying back. He could feel a few fractures in his ribs.

Vox stood up, dusting himself off. His bones were starting to fix themselves, but it had been an impressive hit. "Might have to use that one more." He walked over, offering Agito a hand. "You alright there?"

Agito took his Kage's hand and was pulled up, the lightning armor had disappaited with the use of the chakra and he smiled" You learned that from me?" he panted softly thankfully the armor cushioned most of the hit, but he looked back at the kage after looking at his own ribs, he spoke softly "so what do we do now?" he collapsed with a arm drapped across the kage's neck, he had drained most of his chakra, been awhile since he pushed that far and he started laughing" Now that's training"

Vox nodded, supporting Agito. Now that the armor was deactivated, all the events of the battle seemed to be catching up with him. The kid had worn himself out. "Never been a lariat fan, but hell, I'll try anything once." He brought the jounin to the edge of the field, sitting him down and leaning him against a boulder. "What we do now is get you some rest. How hard were you pushing yourself anyway?" It had looked like Agito had poured everything he had into that fight, or at least a hell of a lot. The Kage sat down next to him, looking concerned. "Yeah, good training, but I don't want you hurting yourself on my account. I'm literally made to take punishment, but you got some limits. Don't wreck yourself sparring."

Agito chuckled softly as he looked up at his kage after being put down and he spoke" I had to test your limits, seeing as you could get the closest to my fastest ever, I wanted to push myself to the limit, the beginning really messed me up though, what was that?"

Vox sat back, popping a cigarette into his mouth. He started to bring up his lighter, but paused. "Mind if I smoke?" He knew humans were more affected by it than he was. He couldn't remember from the dossier if Agito smoked, and after a fight like that he was breathing pretty hard. Smoke might not be what he wanted or needed right then.

Vox chuckled at Agito's question. His signature taijutsu style was still pretty rare, and most people weren't fast enough to be able to see it at work. "It's a fighting style from my homeland, meant for fighting things like me. We're stronger and faster than humans, and some classes of us are a hell of a lot heavier too. We build up a hell of a lot of momentum, and that style takes the momentum and uses it against us. I could teach you sometime, it'd be a hell of a combo with that lightning armor of yours."
