Vox nodded in approval. The kid learned fast, although he was eager to push his boundaries. He had a bit of a spark, though he still respected the chain of command. Those were traits Vox could respect. "Something more impressive, eh?" He looked around, considering his options. These dummies were rooted to the ground, which limited his options. He couldn't really think of a safe way to demonstrate the Air Raid, not without a clone that could take a few hits. That was outside his abilities, and way beyond Han's.

"Well there's the Spear Rain, but that's not too much more impressive. Most of my other kenjutsu would need some different equipment to demonstrate, there's no good way to show it with a stationary dummy and there's no safe way to demonstrate it on you." He thought for a moment. Han seemed disdainful of ninjutsu, but what about other arts? There was plenty he could teach without the use of swords. "Any objections to taijutsu?"

"Yes, to put it bluntly Keukage-sama." Han answered Vox's first question, but he felt guilty for not showing his Kage more respect. He turned this over in his mind, regretting not seeming more interested in what he was willing to teach. Though, Han refused to apologize, that was weakness. Instead, he appeared more happy, smiling as the Keukage talked.

"Other equipment? Hmm.--yeah! Taijutsu is interesting. My style--well, what I want to focus on is the physical aspects. Taijutsu could only improve my focus. That's all I want."

"I'm a physical fighter myself." Vox set his swords aside, folding his coat and laying it on top of them. "Not just with swords. I can do some with those, but my first training was with hands and knives. I've always been more comfortable with those." He took a pair of unusual knives from his belt and set them down on the coat. One was smaller with some sort of mechanism on the crosspiece, and the other was a larger, broader knife with a curved tip and a black finish. Properly disarmed, he turned towards Han and took a stance.

His fighting stance was unusual. It was low and wide, with his hands open and held out in front of him. Not something you would usually see a ninja using. Vox beckoned at his potential student. "You can use your sword. I'll show you a few tricks." He watched Han's movements, waiting for him to strike.

Han might have guessed as much, he was a monster with and without a sword. He assumed it wouldn't be to bad to learn such things from him. He needed a back-up as well--what would happen if he lost his sword in combat? Maybe he should get a wakizashi to company his katana--either way, this would be helpful.

"I would like to learn anything you teach." He said humbly.

"Ready for me?" He said, moving near him.

Han drew his sword again, jumping up above, Vox. He brought the weapon down upon him, in a simple vertical motion.

Vox nodded when the boy asked if he was ready. Han had a good stance, and seemed to understand what he was getting himself into. The kid wasn't going to give any quarter, he knew he couldn't afford it. Vox had a different problem. He had always been a powerhouse, and now with the advanced training he was going through he was even stronger. He'd have to be careful not to hurt the kid.

He noticed Han getting ready to jump and shifted his stance, giving himself leeway to dodge more easily. An aerial attack was going to be an issue. Normally he'd be glad when an opponent tried something like this, but it wasn't as good for training. With that momentum, there was pretty much no counter that wouldn't smash the kid to hell and back. Instead he sidestepped, letting the sword whistle past him. As Han landed, the Keukage's hand shot out in a palm strike. He stopped it an inch short of Han's jaw, bringing a rush of air with it. "That's why I don't like jump attacks. Decent for an ambush, but in a straight fight it's like broadcasting where you're going." He broke off, taking a step back and allowing Han to come at him again. "Try again."

Watching the Keukage dodge his blow, Han gritted his teeth. Turning his head to see where Vox went, the palm push he exerted, whipped wind in his face. Then the Keukage talked about not "liking" more acrobatic combat styles, but Han didn't reply to this, only nodding his head and trying again.

Han moved to the Kage, his footing pedaling heavily to gather speed. Lunging forward, with a single hand, Han targeted ten thrusts the Kage's way. His hands working quickly, creating after-images of the blade. Trying to predict where Vox would move, Han kept the thrusts spread apart to exert a larger field of damage.

Now this was better. The kid was keeping his footing, charging in for a rapid-fire stab. It was quick enough that a genin or maybe even a chuunin would see just after-images. To the Keukage's trained eyes, the attacks were clear as day. He weaved between them, occasionally  bringing a hand up to swat the flat of the blade aside.

When he saw an opening, he took it. A stab went towards Vox's right and he pivoted out of the way, stepping in past Han's arms. One hand grabbed for his wrist while the other pressed against his upper arm, trying to lock the elbow. From there, it would just take a quick pivot to drop the kid on his face.

Jutsu used:

Almost, almost. Nope. Han's face hit the dirt, laying there in the earth, he turned over after a few seconds to look up at the sky. The dirt from the training ground clotted around his puffy lips, and sagged under his eyes. He spit away the dirt, exercising his tongue in the process.

Rotating his arms, a slight moan of pain erupted from his mouth. After laying in his piteous hole for passing moments, Han arose and grabbed his blade that had been dis-guarded a few yards away.

"Alright." He said.

Han had been riddled with the idea since being drove to the ground, he would use it now. 

"I was saving this for the Chuunin exams, along with something else. But, I'll show you now!" He was frustrated with being thrown around.

He charge Vox, feet driving the swift charge. After considerable speed was gained, Han leaped up into the air, beginning to spin forward. What was one front-flip, soon became many. His body was a blur as he drove the vertical sword-strike directly at his opponent.

Jutsu Prerequisites: The user must have at least gathered some basic knowledge of the Smoke Village, Sword Style. Though, being claimed a "Secret Technique", means its know by few in Keumuri.
Description: The user launches themselves at their opponent, and while airborne, they preform a "front tuck". Legs together, with knees fully bent and drawn to the chest and hands clutching the sword outstretched from the body. By "tucking" together tightly in this manner, the body is able to reach maximum angular velocity and thus minimize the time required for the body to complete its revolutions. This method produces severe damage from the outstretched blade, and quick rotations of the body.

Vox was curious when Han said he was pulling out a secret technique. What's the kid got in reserve? he wondered, taking a step back and shifting his stance slightly. It would probably be pretty impressive if he was saving it for the chuunin exams. Could it be some secret smoke style kenjutsu?

When Han launched into the air, something about Vox changed. With a thought, his body was pumped full of chemicals. His hearts beat faster, and his pupils widened to take up his entire eye. What happened next was a blur of motion to any outside observer. Vox was in Han's path one second, and was at his side the next. He paused there for a moment before appearing behind him.

Through Vox's eyes, things were different. The world around him slowed to a crawl, and he calmly strolled around to Han's side. He put a hand to his chin, observing the kid's movements. Curled up close, very aerodynamic like this. Well, as aerodynamic as a human body can be. Keeps the momentum forward, this could cause a lot of damage. He nodded in approval and stepped over to where Han had jumped from, powering himself down.

Even that quick burst had taken a lot out of him, but the Keukage didn't show it. He approached the genin, checking if he was all right. The boy had already seemed tired from the fight, and a jutsu like that must have taken a lot out of him. "Impressive. That's a nasty attack, Mr. Kujira. Should come in handy at the exams. If you'd like, I can teach you more. You interested?"

Jutsu Used:

His body went through the motions of flipping until Han came to an abrupt stop, bare-feet digging into the soil. He had missed again! Air was a measure he needed greatly, his adolescent lungs pumping vigorously, gasping and squeaking. He was becoming stronger, sure, but would he ever soar as high as the Keukage? He is Han's perfect enemy. What had happened--as to how he had dodged Han's technique, mattered little right now. Han was exhausted and demoralized from being "shown-up" one-too-many-times. Though, at least he received a complement from the Kage, that reflected as a terse smile across his lips.

"Keukage, do you mind if we end our session today?--I'm rather tired and I have much to do tomorrow."
