LOOKS DESCRIPTION:
Xi is something of a prettyboy. Attractive and somewhat delicate features, short dark hair, and he keeps himself in peak physical condition. On his left shoulder and stretching down across the left side of his chest he has an incredibly detailed tattoo of a dragon. Xi's clothes are usually simple, but neat and kept in good condition. With all the debt he's built up caring for his parents he can't afford more than the cheapest of clothing, but he still has his dignity. His attire is never ratty or tattered, and he makes sure to keep it as clean as he can. Generally he prefers light clothing, often dressing in white. The only real adornment he wears is a simple necklace, a gift from his parents. It's one of the few things he hasn't had to sell to pay for their care, it just has too much sentimental value.



PERSONALITY INFORMATION:
At his core, Xi has always been a caring sort. He tends a garden, and cultivates white and black roses that he will sometimes give out on a whim. He's very devoted to his parents, and does all in his power to care for them and keep them alive and comfortable. He hopes to find them a cure someday, though sometimes he doubts that's even possible. Still, he tries to keep his hopes up. He trusts in Hyuuga Sakura's medical skills, and will do just about anything to make sure she can continue treatment. He might disagree with her on a lot of things, but he needs her skills. Xi doesn't intend to stay with the Shirotori permanently, and that is hardly a secret. If his parents are ever fully cured, he plans to make a new life with them.

Aside from his parents, though, Xi tries to avoid attachment. He hasn't even told his name to his comrades, instead working under aliases and nicknames. He also doesn't like calling other people by their names. Instead, he makes up nicknames based on their personality. He's extremely reserved, usually keeping quiet and not showing his emotions. He's particularly distant from his fellow Shirotori. While the organization tends to attract sociopaths, Xi takes no joy in causing harm. He would prefer a peaceful life, but will go to any length to care for his parents. And for now, that means working as muscle for the Shirotori. But despite his circumstances, he tries to keep as good as he can. Xi has taken a vow not to lie anymore, and he has kept it well. This doesn't necessarily mean he will always tell things, he will just stare silently if asked something he cannot honestly answer. It can be a bit unnerving for interrogators. This behavior is sometimes mistaken for stupidity, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Xi is quite sharp for his age, and his circumstances have forced him to mature quickly. He hasn't had the luxury of being a child since his parents fell ill, and he resents being treated like one now.

Under his cold and distant exterior, Xi is a profoundly unhappy person. He was forced to betray his friend and his village, and take up with a group of psychotic killers in order to keep the people he loves alive. He hasn't been truly happy in years, and the sadness is evident in his eyes. Even among his comrades in the Shirotori he feels quite alone, and has taken to talking to himself for company. His ramblings are generally pretty gloomy, talking about the darkness around him. One of his few comforts, aside from the faint hope that his parents will someday be well again, is his faith. He was always religious, but he has become far more devout in his current situation. He thinks of it as his only hope for redemption, after all he's done.

Xi, has trained extensively in genjutsu, Making him self very well versed in in the art. By doing so Xi has also learned to collaborate his jutsu into one handed seals.

Extraordinary Senses.
Xi has focused on enhancing his hearing to compensate for his lack of vision. Xi's sense of hearing is so great that he claims to be able to hear every word being spoken in more than half a mile. . He is also able to accurately pick up on changes in an organism's heart rate, allowing him to guess facial expressions and current emotional composition, despite his lack of sight as well as identify a person by the specific patterns of their heartbeat or using it to tell whether a person is lying or not by changes in their heartbeat . Through practice, Xi is able to control his hearing acuity, mentally blocking out specific sounds like his own breathing and heartbeat, all ambient sounds to a normal human level of perception, or all sounds but a particular sound he is concentrating upon. In addition sense of touch is so acute that his finger can feel the faint impressions of ink on a printed page allowing him to read by touch, though laminated pages prevent him from touching and thus reading the ink impressions at a much faster pace than a normal person would be able to read. The rest of his skin is equally sensitive, enabling him by concentration to feel minute temperature and pressure changes in the atmosphere around him. Even with his sense hearing blocked, he can feel the presence of a person standing five feet away from him simply by his or her body heat and disturbance of air. Do to this sneaking up on him is nearly impossible, making him very quick to react.

His powerful hearing renders him extraordinarily vulnerable to excessive sound, which can temporarily weaken him, or if he is bombarded by too much sound at once, Xi can easily be immobilized, which causes him great pain and leaves him disoriented.

Do to Xi's personality of not wanting or careful practice of not finishing his opponent there is often a seldom chance that they may strike back, as he looks for the good in everyone, and life is precious. This can often put him back in range for trouble.

HISTORY
Xi has never had an easy life. When he was very young, his parents made an enemy of a Houton user. The man came after his family. Xi's parents fought the man and barely managed to defeat him, but at a horrible cost. They had both taken quite a few hits from their attacker's radiation jutsus, and were left severely injured. Their young son tried to tend to their wounds, but soon realized that the lasting damage was far worse. Both of his parents had suffered from severe radiation poisoning. Neither of them was able to continue working, and the both were left bedridden with complications from their ailment. Xi blamed himself for their condition, and took it upon himself to care for them. He started off doing whatever odd jobs he could find, but none payed enough to cover their care. What savings his family had gathered were quickly used up, leaving Xi even more desperate.

Desperate for money, Xi began begging his village for more missions, and more dangerous and better-paying ones. His requests were refused. As a genin, he was deemed unready for such work. But the medical bills just kept piling up, and he needed the money. Xi started moonlighting, doing other jobs off the books. It started out simply enough, doing odd jobs around town, but it still wasn't even enough to keep up with the bills, let alone pay off all their debt. Xi was forced to find other sources of income. He was recruited by a local smuggling ring. Like all things, it started out almost innocent. He helped guard their shipments, provide a lookout, and run other odd jobs for them. He was starting to get his head above water by then, but it still wasn't enough. He asked the boss how he could make more money, but he didn't like the answer. The boss offered him enough to cover his expenses, but only if Xi informed on his village for them. The ninja had been cracking down on their organization, and they needed to know when and where the village planned to strike. Xi refused at first, but he soon realized it was the only way. He started to inform, and the organization started to thrive again. Unfortunately, his comrades in the village didn't fare so well. With one of their own leaking information, they were repeatedly ambushed. Some managed to push through, some got to safety. Some didn't make it. Xi was disgusted with what he was doing, but he felt he had to for the sake of his parents.

Unfortunately for him, his village had informants of its own. They soon found the leak and confronted him about his betrayal. Xi was forced to fight his friends, taking his parents and fleeing the village with them. He moved around, trying to keep up with their treatment as the travel took a toll on their already weak health. Xi got more and more desperate, willing to do anything to make ends meet. Finally, he was approached by the Shirotori. They offered him a place in their ranks, a stable home for his parents, and treatment from their own expert medic. Xi made a promise to himself then that he would not lie again. He could make a living honestly now, without treachery or deceit. He would not be a traitor again.
